A Great Sunday

Woke up at around 8.45am today. Today was going to be a great day for me, my mum and my bro. A day we'd be catching the much awaited for Transformers Sequel : Revenge Of The Fallen. Oh, how great the anticipation was. Getting dressed in my favourite pair of jeans and my red snails outfitters shirt, we went to the nearby coffee shop to grab some wan ton mee...the best of it's kind for breakfast.

When we reached, my brothers friend Hanaffey was already sitting there. Well, it's good to see some young people going. But Paul Pah was slightly embarrassing. He wore a Adam Lambert T-shirt he made himself.(check out Kenny's blog for details). It was most shocking to see that all the show times were already booked. Man, it was jam. No matter, we had booked tickets. LOL! Thanks Paul. I met about 40 friends in there. How convenient. So many friends in the same theatre.

After the movie, we had to inch our way to the restroom. Jam packed as usual. After 15 minutes of waiting....almos…

Farewell Mr. Jackson

On 25th June 2009, at exactly 2.26pm US time zone. Michael Joseph Jackson was pronounced dead. He died of cardiac arrest. At that very moment, the world stood still. The passing of a hero. The 'KING OF POP'. We will forever miss his songs, his life and his legacy. With big hits hits like 'Thriller', ' Beat It' and 'Black or White', it's no wonder why he will always be known as the King of Pop. Though, not a great feature in the public eye I believe he's just misunderstood.

I'd like to pass on my utmost gratitude to the brave people who have tried so hard to resuscitate him but to no avail.

My deepest condolences to his family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

But to all his fans worldwide, I would like you all to take off your hats and let us propose a toast to Michael Jackson, The King of Pop! You will forever be missed.

The Pen Of A Million Words

Perhaps some of you are familiar with a pen I commonly use at almost every theater where it is needed. But to those of you who are not familiar with it, it's a UNIC Fountain Pen.
After more than one year using it, it can finally enter the hall of fame as it is one of the most reliable fountain pens ever created. In the years of service, I'm extremely proud to observe its durability and sustainability especially when writing for long hours.

One of the pens interesting features include its German manufactured iridium tip and rear counterweight for added bulk and point precise balance. Overall, after it's immense and invaluable service, I give this pen a 5 out of 5 ranking. And it deserves to run alongside its brothers from Montblanc, Waterman, Parker and Sheaffer.

Doing Chemistry reports with my favourite pen.

My Life So Far

This lyrics really match my life today. Don't ask me why because that's for me to know and for you to find out.

Breakeven - The Script

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing,
Just prayed to a god that I don't believe in,
'Coz I got time while she got freedom,
'Coz when a heart breaks no it don't break even.

Her best days will be some of my worst,
She finally met a man that's gonna put her first,
While I'm wide awake, she's no trouble sleeping,
'Coz when a heart breaks no it don't break even, even no.

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you
What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're ok
I'm falling to pieces
I'm falling to pieces

They say bad things happen for a reason
But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding
'Coz she's moved on while I'm still grieving
And when a heart breaks no it don't break even, even no.

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you
What …

Sleeping Beauty In Ipoh?

Unique and one of a kind. That's all I could think of to represent it. First things first. I'm not gay. Secondly, I don't dance. So you're probably wondering what am I doing there. I had the answer when I first planned to go for this one of a kind performance. But now, I'm just not sure why I actually went in the first place. Not that I'm saying that it's bad or anything.

I'm was extremely impressed with the ability and capability of the people who have placed in all their time and effort into making it a success. I'm particularly impressed with the younger performers who looked absolutely adorable. And their sheer ability to amaze the masses can be called 'awe-inspiring'. Ok, that aside, I'm also impressed with the choreographers from MGS and Dance Center and also the others who have made it a mind blowing performance.

Well, had a lot to say but I kind of lost what I wanted to say so never mind. I was duly impressed by the fact that there…

A Trip To Penang

Came back form a trip to Penang recently. What a nice place to go to. There is a reason Penang is called Food Central. No, don’t go for the seafood because the only thing it does is burn a hole in your wallet. Aim for the hawker food. You can stuff yourself until damnation if you want. (just a bit exaggerated) Well, then there is shopping. I got myself a Diesel Belt. But if you’re aiming to buy a lot of things, avoid heading to Gurney Plaza because you’ll probably have to pay through your nose. Instead, head to Batu Ferringhi. The Westerners love to shop there as well as the locals. And the items sold there may be imitation goods but who knows, you might actually stumble onto the real thing. Not only that, they actually look original. Not bad workmanship. Well, don’t wish to talk a lot so here are some pictures.
The view from a ferry…..Note cruise liner to the right and Russian submarine underwater. Ooopss…
You wanna kill my brother? Well you’ll have to kill me first. Damn…

Of Chocolate Cake and Rendang Ayam

Isn't this cake just lovely?

Heh! Heh! Today is the first anniversary of my handphone. My little baby is already a year old. Well, my mum baked a nice little chocolate cake to commemorate it. Thanks mum. Love you.

Lets see, about my phone, it's a Sony Ericsson W910i. I call it Thomalocity. It's indeed a lovely phone but after 1 year of wear and tear, it's starting to show some battle scars. A true veteran with the ability to lag when you most need it. (joking, it's actually extremely reliable) It has been a great communicating tool and my portable music library. And to what extent do I like this phone?

Conversation between me and my dad :

Dad : Eh, the new iPhone is out. Seems maxis is promoting it.

Me : So? It's just a phone.

Dad : I heard it has a touch screen. Convenient eh?

Me : Sort of... Why?

Dad : Thought that when you go to college, I'll get you one. The later generations will be better.

Me : That'll be later, dad. Thanks. But I love my phone the way it …

A Show You Have To Watch

Just recently, me and Timothy watched Night At The Museum: Battle of The Smithsonian. It's seriously hilarious and with the all star cast including The Simpsons star Hank Azaria in it, be ready for a gut tickling adventure.

Suitable for all ages, it can be considered one of the best family orientated films of the year. So head on over to the nearest cinema before it's too late. To be enjoyed with family members.

Good Times.....Good Times.......

Yesterday,Aaron (The Happy One), Ket En (Cation), AiYean (The Funny One), Koy Yew (The King Scout) and I went to MP to have an AWESOME!!!! steamboat dinner. Heh! Heh! How awkward, I was the last on to arrive. No matter, I've got 2 excuses:

1) I've just finished BM tuition
2) I'm Malaysian. Fashionably late.

Still, I had some things to clarify due to my awesome banana-ness. Maybe everyone thinks I don't know much about steamboat or much about chinese tea. But just a simple reminder, I know more than you think. LOL! First agenda, soup of choice. I'm still puzzeled about porridge soup. Isn't porridge suppose to be a dish on its own? Can it actually be mixed? Nevermind, with that settled, the next agenda was called to order. Food collection.

Being reconnaissance people, the three boys went looking for food like big mice. Main course recovered. Meat, seafood and whatever that can be collected. The ladies decided to hunt for smaller items like sushi and tempura. Kenyang-…

Great Dinner 04/06/09

Late post: 4th June 2009

Mum cooked a really impressive dinner today. I thought I was going for Chemistry tuition on usual everyday rations. Sigh! It's not really easy to attend Chemistry class after 2 1/2 hours of Additional Mathematics. The brain would feel like tofu. But my mum made a really special dinner for all of us.

Brain food..... A western layout of fried lemon chicken, fried onion rings, rice and cabbage soup. Wow! After dinner, I've never been so spirited to go for Chemistry class.

Thank you mum, for the awesome meal. Love you mum.

Anger Management

Well, as most of you all know, I've got temper issues. I don't really know the best way to counter that but just to let you know, it is not dramatic in the sense that I ain't suicidal or murderous. Well, not yet anyway. But I am friendly. Though I may be angry I am friendly. If you have any recommendations or ideas to help me, don't hesitate to drop a comment. Thanks.

Something I would usually picture in my head.
